Globetrotter Tours

Booking:
You need a confirmed booking for your visit. Additionaly we need your address and personal data for security check from each guest.

Visitor regulations:

• Use of cameras, audio recording and mobile phones is prohibited inside the plant. Mobile phones have to be switched off during the tour.
• Visitors are not allowed to leave the group during the tour. Please make sure you stay together with your group. In case the Airbus security has to look for you, you will have to pay all costs incurred.
• The visitor passes have to be returned to your guide at the end of the tour. Please take care of your visitor pass.
• Pets are not allowed.
• Smoking, eating and drinking is not allowed in the hangars.
• Touching aircrafts or aircraft parts is prohibited.
• Airbus as host and Globetrotter as tour operator reserve to cancel tours without replacement - even on short notice - for operational or security reasons. In this case no payment will be due and no claim can be made on Globetrotter or Airbus.
• In case of inappropriate behaviour Airbus/Globetrotter can banish you from the premises (even during a tour).

AIRBUS plant tour in Hamburg:

Reiseland Globetrotter Reisebüro at Airbus „Periport“, to the left of the eastern gate, Kreetslag 7, 21129 Hamburg/Finkenwerder.
Please meet at the Globetrotter office 15 minutes before the scheduled start of your tour. 

AIRBUS plant tour in Bremen:

Please meet 15 minutes before the scheduled start of your tour in the lobby of the Airbus building (address: Airbus Allee 1, 28199 Bremen)

Please make sure to bring a valid passport or child identity card. You are not allowed to enter the AIRBUS plant without a valid identification.
Additionally pupil, student, pensioner evidence is necessary to receive the discount.

The total fee must be transferred to our account at least 14 days before the tour.

Cash payment in our office in the Periport is only possible for tours booked on short notice (less than 16 days before the tour).

Please send us the complete participant list with first and last names as well as nationality, date of birth, place of birth, and address at the latest 14 days before the scheduled tour date. Please make sure to put your reservation number on the participant list!

If we do not have the participant list 14 days before the tour, we will charge you a cancellation fee of € 60,-.
In case of no-shows, illness, short notice cancellation, or absence of or invalid identification the full fee for each person will be due.
For groups of more than 40 people the period for free cancellation (for complete groups) ends 4 weeks before scheduled tour date.

You may change the total number of people on your list until 14 days before the tour date. For booking additional participants please make sure to inform us as soon as possible. It is not always possible to accommodate additional participants.
Changes are no longer possible after the 14 days limit. Please be aware that we can only accommodate those people who booked 14 days before the date of the tour and whose participation is confirmed.

Name changes are possible during the time period between 14-7 days before the date of the tour. 7 days before the tour we finalize the participant list and send it to the Airbus security department.

We run the only official Airbus Shop in Germany. Take the chance to buy souvenirs like model airplanes, pins, shirts and more merchandise. The shop is located in our office at Airbus Periport.

No meal or snack included. You can´t visit the canteen on the plant. We offer group arrangements for lunch in one of our partner restaurants near Airbus.

It is not possible to store luggage in our office due to space limitation and insurance reasons. Please take only a small bag or rucksack with you.

Please bring appropriate clothes in bad weather. Of course you can take a bottle of water with you if its hot.

The tour is on foot. It is not capable for elderly and handicapped. There are no rests or seats during the tour.

By car: From the A7 autobahn, exit Waltershof, direction Finkenwerder. Follow signs to Airbus Operations GmbH. A visitor parking lot is near the Airbus plant. Follow the signs to the visitor parking lot (“Besucher Parkplatz”) and further the sign “Gäste/Referenten”. This parking lot is situated at the street “Neßumgehung” (10 min. walk to the entrance/no shuttle bus to check-in available!)

By coach: Please be advised that if the bus driver would like to take part in the tour there are no official parking lots around Finkenwerder outside the plant. Alternatively and obligatory on Saturdays your bus can bring the participants into the plant and park at the final station of the tour. The bus driver must, without exception, stay in the bus until the end of the tour and then take the group out of the plant.

By public transport: From the train station Hamburg-Altona by bus # 150 (direction Cranz-Estebogen) to Finkenwerder. Exit at bus stop “Airbus (Kehre)”. (The journey takes about 45 minutes). For further information about ferry service and public transport: www.hvv.de. The ferry pier “Airbus Anleger” is for Airbus staff only. So please do not consider taking ferry line 68. From ferry pier “Rüschpark” (Ferry 64) no public transport to the main gate is available.

The traffic on the way to Finkenwerder can be quite heavy so please take this into account when planning your journey!

By Car/Bus:
From Berlin/Hannover on the A7:
Change at “Walsroder Dreieck” onto the A27 in the direction of Bremen. Drive on this motorway up to the Autobahnkreuz (intersection) Bremen and change onto the A1, direction Bremen/Osnabrück. Exit the A1 at Arsten towards Bremen. After having gone through the underpass, you reach the “Neuenlander Straße” and follow it in direction Flughafen/Airport up to the next junction (traffic lights, Shell petrol station on your right). Turn left into the “Neuenlander Ring”, direction Flughafen/Airport and follow this street up to the next junction (traffic lights). Here you turn left again into “Flughafendamm” and drive up to the end. Turn left into Cornelius-Edzard-Straße. At the corner Airbus-Allee you find gate 1. You´ve reached Airbus/Astrium.

From Hamburg or Osnabrück/Münster on the A1:
Exit the A1 at Arsten towards Bremen. After having gone through the underpass, you reach “Neuenlander Straße” and follow it in direction Flughafen/Airport up to the next junction (traffic lights, Shell petrol station on your right). Turn left into the “Neuenlander Ring”, direction Flughafen/Airport and follow this street up to the next junction (traffic lights). By Train
When leaving the main station in direction of the city centre, you will see the stops of public transport on the left of the station square. Take tram line No. 6, destination “Flughafen/Airport”, up to the end Station “Neuenlander Feld” (the ticket can´t be bought from the driver, only at the ticket machines). Than follow the Cornelius-Edzard-Straße to Airbus Allee. At the corner Airbus-Allee you find the main gate 1. You´ve reached Airbus/Astrium.
